The Brussels Park, with intricate Masonic symbolism hidden in its layout, stands between the Royal Palace and the Government Building (Senate and Parliament). The park contains a playground for children, a theatre, a clubhouse, two fountains, refreshment and ice cream stalls, and a number of rectangular lawns, which are popular with civil servants and employees from the surrounding banks and ministries during their lunchtime break.
